January 24th, Thursday - Panama City, Hotel Intercontinental Miramar

We realized the celebration of AIESEC 60th Anniversary in Panama just few weeks ago...amazing...see the work of the biggest part of my term...

More than 200 participants: among them 105 managers and CEOs, 7 media, 35 alumni, 60 AIESECers...a cocktail smart and fast, networking with most influent people in Panama: success!

Now we are gaining results...more exchanges, more money, more positioning, more partners: more AIESEC experiences!

I spent December Holiday in Cancun, Riviera Maya - Mexico. Excelent choice...I was in doubt with Cuba but my friend Rino gave me a good advice.

I spent a week in Cancun...the first days I went to Chichen Itza (one of the 7 wonders of the world), Tulum, Isla de las Mujeres...4 days immersed in Culture and Relax...without losing funny parties during the nights.

Since January 1st I met Mariano Senior and we moved to Clipper Club - Best Western, in the Hotel Zone. Then crazoes nights started....I just remind that the day after we met, after our first party, we stayed the whole day at bed: we forgot to buy pain killer!

Definitevly it was a great week, a place to visit again...

Much time I don't "upgrade" my blog...

Here in Panama everything is going great...working life as social life

Few weeks ago was the 1th anniversary of Mirko staying in Panama. We went to Mystic having fun...we played boot race (10 $ for each shot...I won 60 $...ehehe they don't figure out what we do during AIESEC parties)...then we went to Isla Grande in the carebbean side of Panama. It was a long tiring trip (2h30m) butit was my first time in a "paradise"

just awesome...

IC 2007 in Turkey

2 weeks in Istanbul,one of the beautiful city I've ever seen: a mixture between occident and orient, east and west, materialism and spiritualism...

Turkish people can be the kindest, as the most dangerous! For sure they are great traders...

IC was not like last year, but was great to meet again friends I didn't meet from 2 years...and overall the italian delegation andmy bro Davide! Emotions never end...

Networking, meet friends, self reflection to recognize next step: this was IC 2007 for me.

Great to meet again Parthenope...now it seems so normal to go abroad for them...FORZA PARTHENOPE!

Three days to Turkey!

Just three days to reach one of the most unexpected surprise of my term here in CAS: going to IC 2007!!!

It was just a dream when I left from Italy...Monday the airplane bringing me in Turkey will make this dream a reality!

I'm spending excellent time here in Panama, overall about social life...I love this place: everything is easy for a foreigner, for an Italian :-)

Next congress: accomplished!

Step by step this experience is delivering...Seminario de Desarollo de Liderazgo has been first real contact with potential people of AIESEC CAS, with future leaders of our organization in Costa Rica and Panama.

Truly I saw great potential: the hardest work is to lead and develop it!

I really think AIESEC CAS can become a great reality if we decide to focus on "international alignement". It seemes to live again the challenge of AIESEC in Italy last year...but it's a different reality! Just looking for local leaders able to manage the change...

In this meeting I didn't cover a key role: I just take care of our external speaker, Graciella de Barria, General Manager of SUMA Consulting Group, an important firm in Panama; second thing I did was to facilitate a session at TtT about public speech and persuasive communication...my speciality you know!

But I really did what I had to do: represent my country in the Global Village...I really enjoyed it...look at pics

Jogging & Salsa

Here my plan to be attractive at IC in Turkey.

Since the beginning of the week I'm going to have jogging every day at "OMAR" Park: the lap is 5 Km! First day I got it....second day half...and so on :-)

But this night I discovered the right exercise for people living in Panama: dancing Salsa! I attend with Franklin my first class of Salsa in a club: Bohio Florencia. Just 3$...new people...new activity...happiness!!!

Panama offers these activites. I got and like them!

May 6th, Sunday

Robbie and me, we were waiting for Palermo delegation getting the train. Few minutes before I say goodbye to whole AIESEC Italy: silence among us at the station!

But Melo spent all the time buying cigarettes in the shopping. The train is leaving...he's running getting it...before leaving he gave me a cigarettes-holder to complete the "formal" dressing with onion-clock (cipolla). I know...few people can understand...

July 10th, Tuesday

After 2 month, I find the way to stop smoking!

That cigarettes-holder became an useful condoms-holder. In fact there was never space to bring with me the high volume of condoms I usually wear...

After some hours after the 00.00, they call me giving an award: Best Member!

No space...no time...this is friendship!

Hola mundo...

Estoy en Panamà desde 3 semanas mas o meno...I forgot to write in english....I'm in Panama since the end of May. Panama City is a big one! Skycrapers, great skyline...the landscape is a mixture between modernity and nature.

There are many opportunities here, it's a business center. I'm already working to build my network...it's going great!

The people is very kind but the environment is more international than Costa Rica, so the "Italian" effect is lower...but the situation is good anyway ;-)

Anyway Panama is my ideal environment...it looks like Naples ajajajaja

what is Manuel Antonio?...it's not the name of a trans...it's one of most beautiful place I've never seen...

nature, animals, sea, white sand, sun, rivers...all in one!

We arrived in the morning...felipe and me went to Parco Nacional; Juraj and Martin went to the beach, they already saw the park

on the way of coming we met a group of cocodriles...

this is Costa Rica

we spent 4 hours exploring the park...we met monkeys, a lazy bear, iguanas...and so on. then a tiring XP we went to have a swim: string and high waves...we enjoyed too much!!!

CASgo was also the conference of fun: sessions in the pool, teambuilding in the pool (waterpool), teambonding in the pool, parties in the pool...

Juraj was o'mast e'fest of the conference...

drinking games...new games never played before...

as MC (against LCs) we won all the water competitions...we lost just the last one: it was a case!

last night we had a braciata...and for the closing a swim in the pool all togheter

Hola chicos y chicas...CASgo is done!

First conference was near Jaco on the Pacific side. It was first meeting with all the leaders of AIESEC CAS: I like their spirit!

There it was really really hot, all the day I stayed in shorts or naked ;-)

I ran rhe sessions in spanish...or at least I thought so...we had some sessions in the pool: never seen in my AIESEC XP, but I liked it!

All the LCs look like aligned: now is time for Action!...by Action come our MC Brand Promise: A-Team!

Last news: I'm new coach of AIESEC USMA: for sure it will become best LC in our network!

Soy llegado!!!!!!!!

First note from San Josè - Costa Rica

When I landed in San Josè soon ticos showed me their

"calor"...they are really similar to italian from south of italy

ahahaah

I stay at

Daniela's home...really HOT girl: thanx daniela for hosting me!

Here I stay all the day with

t-shirt, but in the afternoon it often rains. We started

transition...the coolest thing was the teambuilding at Alejandro's

home: an immersion in naturaleza...

Spanish...English...body language: communication is

very good. People are very kind and available to know my culture and my way to

enjoy. I introduced "Get to know each other" by Parthenope and other

stuff and signs...

I'm getting to know many people and starting to build my network. As

forst "ER" contact I was at Italian Embassy...succesfull one! They will

help me getting in touch with Italocostarricense Chamber of Commerce.

My XP started, a brand new start...keep in touch!
